We are looking for a Concierge and Administration Coordinator to become the welcoming face and steady hand of The District Docklands – supporting visitors, tenants and employees every step of the way.

This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone who loves variety in their day, enjoys building relationships, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and is willing to immerse themselves in Melbourne’s entertainment district.

About the role

As our Concierge and Admin Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for everyone who walks through our doors – setting the tone for a professional, friendly and efficient experience across The District. You will balance front-of-house presence with essential administrative and financial support, making this a varied and rewarding role. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with the wider precinct team.

Key accountabilities include:

·      Delivering outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants and employees, acting as the primary point of contact for enquiries and requests

·      Managing accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment follow-up

·      Providing general administration and office management support to keep daily operations running smoothly

·      Playing an active role in emergency management, including emergency and evacuation procedures, to help ensure the safety of everyone on site

What you will bring

·      Proven experience in customer service, concierge, front-of-house or administration roles in hotels, tourism, entertainment or shopping centres

·      Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

·      Confidence in handling financial administration tasks such as accounts receivable

·      Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional manner

·      A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine commitment to service excellence

·      Willingness to undertake emergency management/warden training as required
