  • You are proficient in Spreadsheets, Research, Microsoft 365, Expense reports, Documentation.

Responsibilities and more:

We are Lanzame, an early-stage VC based in Barcelona, together with a Family Office also based in Barcelona. We support investments and closely follow reporting, investor communication, and internal documentation across our portfolio lifecycle. In this role, we need an organized administrative and operations support person to help us run smoother day-to-day processes: from assisting with Excel-based accounting support and reviewing financial reports, to helping compile investment materials for investors, and coordinating research and diligence tasks for new opportunities. You will support our team in turning scattered information into clear documentation and reliable outputs, so we can move faster while staying precise with financials and investor updates.

Responsibilities:

– Support general administrative tasks for the VC and Family Office.

– Assist with simple Excel accounting tasks (e.g., bookkeeping support and maintaining structured sheets).

– Review and organize financial reports related to VC investments, and help prepare/share them with investors.

– Look for and help schedule meetings with new entrepreneurs and angel investors.

– Conduct research tasks and assist with due diligence activities for potential investments.

– Maintain and organize internal documentation (files, folders, naming conventions, versioning, and keeping everything easy to find).

– Track action items from meetings and ensure follow-ups are documented and scheduled.

– Continuously improve our workflows by learning and applying AI tools to admin, research, and documentation.

Candidate Profile:

– We are looking for someone who is extremely organized, reliable, and proactive. We need a person who enjoys building structure, organizing internal documentation, and supporting financial and investor-related workflows with attention to detail.

Required Skills:

– Very strong organization skills and high follow-through.

– Comfort working with Excel and financial documentation (we can support on specifics, but you must be detail-oriented).

– Ability to review information carefully and keep it consistent for reporting purposes.

– Good research capabilities and willingness to support due diligence tasks.

– English and Spanish proficiency (spoken and written).

– Interest in learning and growing in areas like AI-assisted workflows, financial operations, and accounting fundamentals.

– Availability to start with 10 hours per week, with the possibility to increase if we are both comfortable and demand grows.

Nice to Have:

– Basic knowledge of VC/angel ecosystem terminology and standard investor materials.

– Experience organizing documents and creating clear processes (even in non-professional contexts).

Personality Fit:

– We value someone who wants to build a long-term relationship with us for at least 2 years.

– Clear communication, discretion with financial/investment information, and a calm, methodical working style.

– Curiosity and willingness to learn continuously.

Desirable (Not Required):

– Experience with investor updates, reporting, or administrative support in finance-related roles.

– Exposure to due diligence workflows (even in a support capacity).

– Comfort using AI tools for summarization, document organization, and research assistance.

– Experience maintaining structured spreadsheets and producing consistent outputs.

– Ambition to learn how to implement AI workflows within an organization.

Schedule & Compensation:

– Part-time collaboration starting at 10 hours per week.

– Hours can increase if we are both comfortable with the arrangement.

– Pay: $5 USD per hour.

– We are looking for candidates in Colombia or Venezuela (LATAM in General).

– We work with a long-term mindset and want someone interested in building a relationship for at least 2 years.
