We are looking for an organized administrative team member to support daily office operations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone early in their career who can manage clerical tasks, communicate effectively, and provide dependable support to internal teams and leadership. The role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with common business software, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative assignments efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative activities, including document preparation, filing, and general office support.
• Draft, format, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other business documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Assist with invoice tracking, basic bookkeeping tasks, and review of routine financial documents for accuracy.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries with excellent customer service and clear written and verbal communication.
• Maintain organized records and support records management practices to ensure information is easy to retrieve.
• Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, fax distribution, and updating office documentation.
• Conduct research and compile information to support team projects, business requests, and executive needs.
• Provide administrative assistance to senior staff, including support for C-suite level activities when needed.
• 0-2 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or office support role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other standard computer programs used in office environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare clear correspondence and interact effectively with others.
• Demonstrated customer service skills and a dependable, detail-oriented approach to assigned work.
• Ability to manage records, organize documents, and handle multiple office functions with accuracy.
• Familiarity with invoicing, basic bookkeeping, or reviewing financial statements is preferred.
• Capability to perform routine clerical tasks, including scanning, photocopying, and fax handling.
