The
Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Oregon State Hospital (OSH)
has a fantastic opportunity for an Administrative Specialist 1 to join our Salem team.
The Oregon State Hospital provides patient-centered, psychiatric treatment for adults from throughout the state who need hospital-level care. Our primary goal is to help people recover from their illness and return to the community. What you will do!
This position will provide administrative support and coordination to the Learning and Development Department. This position provides administrative support related to New Employee Orientation, onboarding, and continued education and training for OSH staff. This position will create schedules, provide reports, enter training data into various computer programs, and ensure the smooth operation of the departmen

This recruitment will be used to fill, full-time positions located in Salem OR, and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur. This position is represented by Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
Shift: Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm
Days off: Saturday/Sunday

Minimum Qualifications:
Two years of secretarial or basic administrative support experience that includes records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and one year of experience with records processing, generating documents, and gathering and sorting data
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Attributes:
Experience using personal computers, entering and retrieving information to include electronic mail and spreadsheets.
Experience performing a variety of clerical functions at a technical or secretarial support level requiring decision-making within established laws, rules, policies and procedures.
Experience applying laws, rules, policies, procedures, and applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements
Ability to maintain confidentiality of agency records.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions.
