ASSISTANT MANAGER OF TOTAL REWARDS

SUMMARY

In partnership with the Sr. Director of Total Rewards, the Manager of Total Rewards will oversee Benefit Administration and HR operations across the enterprise. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Total Rewards, or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is Remote and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 10%.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Benefit Administration

Assist with the design, evaluation, and administration of employee benefit programs,
ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
Manage Open Enrollment process, coordinate with vendor to ensure effective employee communication.
Reconcile monthly benefit invoices
Manage 401(k) plan, ensure compliance with year-end activities and participate in annual audit.
Oversee and manage federal, state and local leave management processes: FMLA,
Workers’ Compensation, Military, STD/LTD, and other type of leaves.
Manages ADA accommodation process
Partner with payroll team for benefit balancing and medical support orders.
Assist with preparing and presenting employee education of company benefit programs.
Ensure benefit compliance with federal, and state laws and regulations including all benefit audits and 5500 filings.

HR Operations

Oversee onboarding process for new hires: pre-boarding requirements,
employment verifications, and onboarding coordination.
Manage employment verifications and unemployment responses.
Oversee various operational processes: Per Diem, Transfers, New Hires, and other
identified processes.
Prepare and file EE0-1 filings and other state filing requirements.
Develop and support employee engagement surveys and analytics.
Audit ADP and Workday information to ensure accuracy of information.
Maintain employee records.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements.

Additional Responsibilities

Back up to and assist with compensation processes.
Supervisory responsibilities
Regular attendance, in accordance with company’s attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position.
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in HR operations, benefits and leave
management.
Strong knowledge of federal and state laws: employment, benefit and leave.
Demonstrate understanding on how to administer leave of absence, accommodations and wellness programs.
Solid understanding of HR processes, data management, and reporting analysis.
Experience with employee engagement and education.
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize actions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

SHRM-CP, PHR or CEBS certified
Preferred experience working with ADP Payroll and Workday.
