Job Description:
Provide administrative office support for an average of 30+ employees.
Weekly payroll submission for company.
Review all new hire paper work and send to upper management for processing.
Accept and review applications, setup interviews.
Make and maintain employee files.
Taking customer calls/complaints.
Filing, faxing and organizing.
Scanning of various documents.
Maintain DOT requirements, staff files, accurate payroll files and vacations lists.
Oversee accident, injury, property damage reports by transmitting information to the corporate office.
Responsible for maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc. as well as light cleaning in the office.
Ordering supplies.
Light housekeeping.
Completing requisition forms.
Routing.
Occasional local driving – must have current drivers license.
Invoicing, accounts receivables, and payables.
Must have at least (1) years worth of knowledge and experience of the above and be willing to learn, grow, and work together with the Office Manager to complete all of the office duties and responsibilities.
Skills and Attributes:
Basic customer service.
Great communication.
Computer literate, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Must be organized.
Demonstrate a cooperative attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills with clients, coworkers, and vendors.
Demonstrate decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills with particular attention given to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to work as a member of a team.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and employ reasoning skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks experience a plus.
Qualifications:
High School or GED.
Spanish proficiency is a plus.
