King Trading has been manufacturing private label swimwear and activewear in Bali since 1993. We produce for brands across Australia, Europe and the United States. Our team is young, close-knit and proud of what leaves our factory.
If you have studied fashion or tata busana and enjoy the technical side more than the sketching, this role is for you. You will work out how much fabric each style needs and check that our estimates match reality. It is careful, satisfying work, and a strong foundation for a career in garment production.
What you will be doing
- Calculate estimated fabric consumption from samples, patterns and styles
- Compare estimates against actual fabric used and flag any differences
- Check pattern data and fabric requirements for accuracy
- Maintain and update fabric consumption data in Excel
- Coordinate with the production team when discrepancies appear
What we are looking for
- Background in fashion design, tata busana or a related field, with an understanding of pattern basics
- Solid basic maths and confident Excel skills
- Careful, accurate and analytical by nature
- A fast learner who adapts well to new processes
- Candidates from other backgrounds are welcome if you have experience in patterns, garment production or fabric consumption
