As an Associate People Shared Service Manager, you’re the person the shared services team comes to when a case gets hard. You handle the most complex multi-country operations as an individual contributor, no direct reports, but real technical authority. You take on loosely defined problems that reach into legal and finance, own the judgment calls inside your area, and persuade partners to your recommended course even when the final decision sits with them.

About The Role

  • Lead complex lifecycle and documentation cases restructures, cross-border transfers, sensitive exits: owning the judgment calls
  • Be the reference point for statutory, employment law, and compliance questions that cut across all Traveloka markets
  • Ensure timely statutory obligations relevant to employee lifecycle across assigned markets, and act as the subject-matter expert on labor-law changes
  • Own and drive an HR operations process-improvement initiative for your markets as part of a project team, from problem diagnosis to implemented fix
  • Build strong working relationships with various stakeholder e.g., Finance, Legal, and Procurement, to persuade partners of your position and provide reliable, timely operational reporting
  • Coach and quality-check junior analysts on the craft, raising the standard of the work without owning their line management
  • Safeguard documentation, system security, and confidentiality of employee records

Who You Are And What You'll Bring

  • You have at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • You are the person others come to when HR operations gets complicated
  • You have deep, current command of employment law, statutory obligations, and compliance requirements across Southeast Asian markets
  • You find the error before the audit does highly detail-oriented with a genuine analytical edge
  • You are proficient across HRIS platforms and use reporting to manage your operation, not just describe it
  • You manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders without losing accuracy or composure
  • You have mentored or guided others as a technical expert — you raise the quality of the work around you without needing a management title
  • You handle confidential data with rigorous control and discretion
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or equivalent experience
  • You communicate clearly in English, written and verbal; a regional language is a plus
  • You have run complex HR operations across several Southeast Asian markets outside Indonesia end to end
  • You have led a process or system migration — HRIS rollout, vendor change — without disrupting employee experience
  • You have become the go-to expert others rely on for the hardest operational and compliance calls
