Position Summary
The Certification Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily functions of the Certification Team. This in-office position assists the Certification Coordinator and Certification Specialist in a variety of administrative, technical, and client-service-related tasks. This individual will help ensure that recovery housing providers receive timely, professional support throughout the certification process.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls, return voicemails, and route inquiries appropriately
Conduct data entry with a high degree of accuracy
Assist in the initiation and tracking of renewal processes
Prepare and submit payment requests
Maintain and update reports as directed
Support certificate creation, editing, and distribution
Attend internal meetings and take detailed minutes
Maintain accuracy of internal databases
Provide general administrative support to Certification Team
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or higher preferred)
Prior administrative or office experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and OneDrive
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
Professional demeanor and customer service skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and Level 2 background check (or qualify for exemption)
Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation
Preferred:
Experience in nonprofit or behavioral health settings
Familiarity with recovery housing or substance use recovery services
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
