Job Purpose
- Weigh and mix aromatic oils and chemicals to a predetermined formulation, strictly following a pre-determined formulation and in accordance to company procedures.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Highlighting any problems encountered during the compounding process to the line manager.
- To ensure vessels are labelled correctly.
- To adhere to company manufacturing Health & Safety procedures, along with procedures specific to certain raw materials.
- Accurately complete all paperwork associated with a batch.
- To ensure all work areas are clean and tidy.
- To ensure all equipment to be used is clean and dry.
- Communicate any dangers in the workplace to the appropriate person.
Skills And Attributes Required
- Basic English language is an essential
- Holder of a Forklift Truck driving license
- Previous experience of weighing & measuring things – Advantageous, but training would be provided
- Able to work with hazardous materials and manual handling of drums is required
- Able to work efficiently and effectively with attention to detail, even when under pressure
- Good level of numeracy skills
- Understand and follow work instructions.
