Position Summary: The Data Clerk will assist with our County-funded Coordinated Eviction Prevention System (CEPS) program. This role will support the department by ensuring data is accurately collected, entered, and reported, contributing to overall program success.

Major Responsibilities/Duties

Process and validate data from various systems.

Verify data is accurate and correct any discrepancies.

Perform routine audits to identify missing or outdated information and update as needed.

Create files electronically.

Update and maintain various systems and spreadsheets.

Create various reports, as needed.

Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications/Skills:

Commitment to the mission of the organization

High School diploma or equivalent

Strong Excel proficiency

Ability to type 45 WPM

Attention to detail and excellent computer skills

Familiarity with standard office equipment

Demonstrated relationship-building skills; possesses solid judgment, critical thinking skills, and a sense of teamwork and community

Demonstrated ability to work with community partners and organization’s diverse constituents to develop a strong network of key figures who can support and further the mission of CEPS Program

High proficiency in Office, Salesforce, and openness to learn other data enhancement tools

Preferable – Ability to speak and write in a second language other than English (Spanish, Somali, Swahili, Arabic, Vietnamese, or other language)

Hours andCompensation

40 hours per week, exempt

Hourly Range: $21-25/hr depending on experience.
