About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Director of Employee Success to join our dynamic team. This key role will be instrumental in driving employee engagement, building a high-performing culture, and supporting the company’s growth.
Reports to: VP of Business Management
Key Responsibilities:
Champion Employee Engagement:
Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Conduct regular employee pulse checks and address concerns proactively.
Plan and execute employee appreciation events and social activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure a smooth and successful transition for new employees.
Manage the internship program.
HR Operations:
Oversee all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance with all relevant labor laws.
Manage employee records, conduct investigations related to employee misconduct, ensure employee records are standardized.
Manage and oversee Green Summit Landscape Safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations related to safety reporting. Ensure all required claims and incidents are reported correctly and accurately to insurance providers. This includes; workers compensation, general liability, and vehicle insurance policies.
Develop and maintain employee handbooks and policies.
Training & Development:
Develop and deliver impactful training programs, including safety training, leadership development, and professional development.
Manage the company’s training programs and track employee progress.
Culture Building:
Champion company values and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Promote open communication and collaboration among all employees.
Maintain a strong employee brand and promote Green Summit as an employer of choice.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
SHRM – CP certification is highly preferred.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and development.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Required Competencies:
Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of Federal, State, and local employment laws.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good spelling and grammar.
Responsive to customer and colleague needs, including being tactful, respectful, and considerate of others regardless of their status.

Job Requirements:
Must be able to work approximately 40 hours per week and provide your own transportation to and from the office
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee must be able to sit and look at a computer screen for long periods of time.

Work Environment:
