Key Responsibilities
• Partner closely with the CEO to prioritize and drive key business initiatives, ensuring alignment across departments.
• Own and manage cross-functional projects and operational priorities, coordinating with A&R, marketing, legal, finance, and digital teams.
• Evaluate incoming requests and independently determine prioritization and appropriate course of action, including responding on behalf of the executive where appropriate.
• Synthesize information from multiple stakeholders and formulate recommendations and proposed courses of action, at times executing decisions on behalf of the executive.
• Draft and review high-level communications, presentations, and business materials, ensuring alignment with executive priorities.
• Maintain visibility into key business activities and proactively identify risks, gaps, or inefficiencies, recommending solutions.
• Oversee and help improve processes and workflows across the executive’s team to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Partner with finance on budget planning and oversight, including evaluating spend, identifying variances, and making recommendations aligned with business priorities.
• Lead coordination of executive-level meetings and initiatives, ensuring follow-through and accountability across stakeholders.
• Handle highly confidential business, financial, and artist-related information with discretion and sound judgment.
• May provide guidance and oversight to junior administrative staff, helping to manage workflows across the executive office.
• Exercise delegated authority to make decisions on behalf of the executive regarding prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and project direction.
• Contribute to the execution of business priorities by ensuring alignment, accountability, and progress across key initiatives.
• Organizational and project management skills.
• Manage complex and ever-changing executive calendars, including internal meetings, artist-related commitments, industry events, and travel across global time zones.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably within a record label, entertainment, or media environment
• Strong understanding of music industry operations, including A&R, release cycles, and artist relations
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and manage high-pressure, fast-moving situations
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with acute attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence, particularly in artist-facing contexts
