Title: Executive Assistant
Company: SC Staff and Consult
Location: City Of London, England, United Kingdom
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT — SENIOR PARTNER
This is a genuinely prestigious appointment — an Executive Assistant role supporting the Senior Partner at one of London's most respected and distinctive law firms, with additional involvement in a fascinating wider team remit.
The firm is known for its pre-eminent position in private capital, private wealth, M&A, and disputes — big enough to handle the most complex work in the market, with the culture and agility of a firm where people genuinely know each other. For an experienced EA who wants to work at the very top table, this is it.
We're looking for someone who will be a true strategic partner to the Senior Partner — proactive, commercially aware, and confident managing a dynamic and high-pressure workload with complete discretion.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
– Serving as the Senior Partner's primary point of contact — managing their complex diary, inbox, and communications with complete professionalism
– Anticipating problems before they arise and taking genuine ownership of your workload
– Organising international travel, itineraries, visas, accommodation, and transfers
– Leading the end-to-end billing process — time recording, draft bills, disbursements, narratives, credit notes, and client collections
– Managing client matter opening, conflict searches, CDD liaison, and file management
– Coordinating Partner events, client functions, seminars, and ad hoc projects
– Managing CRM (InterAction) contacts and BD activities
– Producing and formatting complex legal documents to the highest standard
– Providing support to the Beyond Legal team when required, alongside a dedicated admin resource
– Building strong relationships across the firm and contributing to the wider EA community
ABOUT YOU
You'll be an experienced, confident EA who has supported at Senior Partner, Head of, or equivalent level, and who thrives in a high-expectation environment. You don't need to be told twice — you're already thinking three steps ahead.
– Minimum five years' strong PA/EA experience — ideally in a law firm, though other professional services backgrounds will be considered
– Proven track record supporting at senior leadership level
– Excellent billing and financial administration experience (essential)
– Advanced Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
– Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and document production
– Secretarial qualifications (RSA, CILEx, legal secretarial diploma) desirable
– Commercially minded, discreet, and a natural relationship builder
– Able to hit the ground running from day one
My client can offer super benefits and hybrid working policy of 3 days in the office (pending business needs due to the seniority of this role)
