Overview

Insomnia Visuals is a leading teen fashion brand in the US. (www.insomniavisuals.com) (IG: @insomnia).

We are building a high-output fashion company driven by speed, product volume, and content. We are scaling from hundreds of unique styles to thousands per year, across DTC and major wholesale partners.

The ideal candidate is very much type A, has a strong bias to action, and is timely and organized. You will act as a filter, force multiplier, and control layer between the CEO and the business. Your job is to ensure that each department within the business is hitting their KPIs and timelines, escalating only true red flags.

The Role

You are the operational extension of the CEO.

You will:

Own visibility across all departments

Ensure KPIs are tracked, reported, and acted on

Control information flow to and from the CEO

Step in to resolve issues before they reach escalation

This is not a calendar-management role. This is an execution and control role. It is a direct feeder to the Chief of Staff title role.

Responsibilities

KPI Ownership & Reporting

  • Maintain KPI dashboards across product, marketing, content, and operations
  • Run daily/weekly/monthly KPI tracking and flag anything off-track
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate, consistent, and on time

Information Flow & CEO Shielding

  • Act as the primary interface between the CEO and the team
  • Filter inbound requests, updates, and problems
  • Only escalate what requires CEO-level decision making
  • Ensure the CEO is not involved in routine follow-ups or status checks

Cross-Team Execution

  • Maintain full visibility across product, content, and operations timelines
  • Track deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies
  • Push teams to resolve issues independently before escalation
  • Identify bottlenecks early and drive resolution

Meeting & Accountability Systems

  • Run structured weekly check-ins across departments
  • Ensure every meeting has clear outputs and next steps
  • Hold team members accountable to timelines and KPIs
  • Eliminate vague updates (“working on it”) — replace with concrete status

Problem Solving

  • When something is off-track:
  • Identify root cause
  • Route to the correct owner
  • Ensure resolution without CEO involvement when possible
  • Step in directly if a problem is not being resolved

What Success Looks Like

  • The CEO is no longer chasing updates across teams
  • KPIs are tracked automatically, with clear ownership
  • Problems are resolved before they escalate
  • Teams operate with clarity, speed, and accountability

The business runs on systems, not constant intervention

Ideal Profile

You are:

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Relentless about follow-through
  • Comfortable pushing people and enforcing standards
  • Able to operate across multiple functions without losing clarity
  • You would call yourself a "numbers person"
  • Highly skilled at communication
  • Radically organized

You are not:

  • Passive or reactive
  • Dependent on being told what to do
  • Interested in a purely administrative role

Requirements

  • 4-year degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in EA/Project Management
  • Living in LA, within transportation distance to our office in DTLA (Fashion District)
  • Have potential Saturday availabilities for photoshoot assistance

Salary

$82k – $105k / yr based on experience.
