About the Role

PsychPlus is seeking an HR Coordinator & Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day HR administration and U.S. payroll operations.

This role combines HR coordination responsibilities with hands-on payroll support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with confidential employee information, and familiar with U.S. payroll processes.

You will support employee records, onboarding and offboarding activities, HR documentation, payroll data, timekeeping, payroll reconciliations, and payroll-related reporting.

The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work with U.S.-based teams during U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities

HR Coordination

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes

• Coordinate collection and maintenance of employee information and required documentation

• Prepare employment letters, HR documents, and employee records as needed

• Maintain HR trackers and ensure employee data remains accurate

• Support employee inquiries and route HR-related requests to the appropriate team members

• Assist with HR reporting and recurring administrative tasks

• Maintain confidentiality when handling employee and payroll information

U.S. Payroll Support

• Support payroll preparation for U.S.-based employees

• Collect and validate payroll inputs, including hours, timekeeping data, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll-related information

• Review payroll reports for missing or inconsistent information

• Assist with payroll reconciliations and identify discrepancies

• Maintain payroll trackers and supporting documentation

• Coordinate with payroll providers and internal Finance and HR teams on payroll-related issues

• Support payroll adjustments, corrections, and employee payroll inquiries

• Assist with payroll reporting and recurring payroll audits

• Follow established payroll processes and internal controls

• Maintain accurate documentation for payroll activities and reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in HR administration, payroll, HR operations, accounting support, or a related field

• Working knowledge of payroll processes

• Understanding of basic U.S. payroll concepts

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience working with spreadsheets and HR or payroll data

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information professionally

• Strong organizational and follow-up skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Availability to work during U.S. business hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting U.S. payroll operations

• Experience with U.S. payroll taxes, deductions, or payroll reconciliations

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, ADP TotalSource, Gusto, Paychex, Rippling, or similar payroll platforms

• Experience with HRIS platforms such as BambooHR or similar systems

• Experience working with U.S.-based companies or teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Experience using Excel for payroll reporting, reconciliations, and data validation
