We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our team and help us shape and support an exceptional work culture!
As our HR Manager, you’ll be the go-to person for all things people-related. From onboarding to benefits administration to employee engagement, you’ll lead and manage every aspect of HR. You’ll also take on a few critical operations tasks, like ensuring compliance and helping keep our administrative processes running smoothly. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.
This is a hybrid position located in Downtown, Orlando, where you are able to work semi-remote (3 days) and on-site (2 days).
Responsibilities and Duties
Lead full-cycle recruitment: job postings, interviewing, onboarding.
Evaluate and recommend employee benefits plans annually; analyze current benefits offerings and assist in the design, selection, and implementation of new benefits plans and policies.
Manage and administer employee benefits, PTO, and leave policies.
Act as a point of contact for employee relations and conflict resolution.
Implement and oversee performance management systems.
Maintain HR policies, employee handbook, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Manage all HR systems (Rippling, PerformYard, JazzHR)
Run payroll and ensure accuracy.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and team-building efforts.
Support training and development initiatives.
Monitor and ensure company-wide compliance with employment and regulatory standards.
Assist with vendor management, some office administration and ensuring smooth operations.
Support the leadership team with other operational projects as needed.
Requirements and Experience
4+ years of HR generalist or manager experience, ideally in a small company or startup.
Proven experience managing open enrollment cycles from end to end; including demonstrated expertise in benefit plan design and selection.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience
Experience managing payroll, benefits, and compliance.
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and handling a mix of strategic and administrative tasks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
