HUMAN RESOURCES ADMIN FOR ILS

(*ILS: Independent Living Skills)

Under general direction from the Executive Director, and the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Admin is responsible for the human resources function of the ILS department as well as helping the Human Resource Director with general tasks and required reports. The Human Resource Admin will be working 80% of the time for ILS which is in Sonoma, CA and 20% of the time in the central office, which is in Vallejo, CA.

Principal responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Collaborate with the HR Director to manage all HR operations, processes and policies related to the full employment cycle: job descriptions, job postings, background verifications, recruitment, new hire orientation, personnel records maintenance, compensation and benefits, employee safety and health, leaves, performance management, promotions and termination for the ILS department

Oversee ILS employee work schedules, and timesheets and ensure that employee schedules are complete and confirmed for acceptance of shifts

Work with ILS management team to determine recruitment needs and staffing objectives

Conduct new hire orientations and all on-boarding responsibilities for ILS staff

Collaborate with the Human Resource Director to administer employee benefits programs including annual ACA reporting and act as liaison with benefits providers

Utilize the EVV system to meet billing requirement for ILS (Trainings will be provided)

Temporarily covering for colleagues’ work responsibilities only as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

A minimum of one year of human resources generalist hands on experience is required

One year of billing and payroll processing experience preferred

Experience in the healthcare or home healthcare industry highly desirable

Two years of administrative or human resource experience preferred

Must be able to commute to Vallejo and Sonoma for work

Must be able to pass a background check and other pre-employment exams

Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook and experience with an HRIS system, MITC preferred

Effective interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships and interact with all levels within the organization

Must be a team player with the ability to work cross functionally and be willing to pitch in
