HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
REGULAR PART TIME – $22.00 – $24.00/HR
Must be available during office hours – Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 PM
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for various supportive administrative duties within the human resources department. Duties vary, including general clerical, records management, filing, and data entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, labelling, scanning, etc.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
Assist with the administrative support of other HR disciplines throughout the department.
Support in building various packets for HR disciplines and events.
Data entry for specific tasks and special projects with accuracy.
Provide requested information to supervisors and co-workers by phone, e-mail, or in person.
Provide administrative support to the Front Desk.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
Ability to effectively interact with a diverse workforce.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage time with projects in progress.
Experience with Microsoft preferred.
Bilingual, English/Spanish is preferred.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
Regularly required to talk or hear.
Frequently required to sit and use hands and fingers to operate a keyboard or mouse, handle and feel phones, files, and paperwork.
Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally bend and twist at the waist and neck, and lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate while working in the office.
The work environment may entail being in a warehouse where there is intermittent noise from machinery.
