FTE: PRN, 0.0, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days. This position is a full-time temporary position intended to support coverage between mid/late July thru mid/late November.
Monday – Friday. 8:00am-5:00pm. Hours and days may be flexible. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday availability are required to facilitate and support programming noted below.
Pay: $29.54 – $44.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience
Summary:
Administers, coordinates, and supports departmental policies, programs, and services.
Primary position duties will include but may not be limited to:
Facilitation of new employee orientation/onboarding programming
Supports employee engagement and programming/planning and events
Supports YVMC housing programming and serves as liaison between YVMC and property management company.
Supports localized benefit and community partnerships programming
Supports badging/identification requests/needs
Supports volunteer services programming
Generalized support of YVMC Human Resources office operations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborates on the development and implementation of departmental policies, programs, and services, including recruitment, employee services, compensation and benefits administration, organization development, performance improvement, and training and development.
Collaborates with departmental staff and multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
Supports management with the handling and resolution of employee claims, disputes, and lawsuits.
Assists with the administration of periodic activities, including annual performance reviews, compensation surveys, and audits.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations, Business Administration or related field.
3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills:
Strong technical skills that include broad knowledge and understanding of Microsoft applications to include but not limited to; Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, & Forms. Prior experience with HRIS systems such as Lawson (UKG) along with Salesforce, & Eventbrite applications a plus.
Strong presentation and communication (written/verbal) skills to support varying needs and audiences. Bilingual a plus.
Strong analytical skills to support spreadsheet and data analysis needs and requests
