Job Description:
SCOPE: The Human Resources Learning and Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor and collaborator to business leaders and team members, aligning human resources strategies with organizational goals. This role is responsible for driving talent development initiatives, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting organizational effectiveness through proactive HR practices. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and team members that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
FUNCTIONS:
1. Strategic HR Partnership: Serves as a strategic advisor to business leaders, aligning human resources initiatives with organizational goals to enhance overall business performance and drive organizational effectiveness.
2. Learning & Development Strategy: Lead the design and implementation of learning and development programs that build organizational capability, support team member growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
3. Talent Management: Manage and support talent planning and performance processes to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops high-performing team members aligned with business needs.
4. Employee Relations & Culture: Promotes a positive workplace environment by guiding team member relations practices, fostering inclusion, and reinforcing a culture of engagement, accountability, and respect.
5. Data-Driven Insights: Leverage HR data and analytics to inform talent strategies, improve HR processes, and provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making and business outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of human resource experience required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Professional certification in Human Resources preferred.
Must have computer proficiency including expert use of Word, Excel, and Outlook and other software programs. General knowledge of confidentiality and Human Resources office protocol is preferred.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work.
Continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
Knowledge of office management practices and secretarial procedures.
Ability to think independently, anticipate needs and take initiative.
