Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist in the full-cycle recruitment process by helping to attract and assess top talent that aligns with our core values.
Collaborate with hiring managers to craft job descriptions that clearly articulate expectations and values.
Develop and implement value-based behavioral interview questions for all stages of the hiring process.
Build and maintain a talent pipeline of high-performing candidates who align with our mission and values.
Enhance our career page with value-driven messaging and transparent benefits to attract top talent.
Culture Building:
Champion the integration of our values into daily work, fostering a culture where employees thrive.
Collaborate with managers to conduct quarterly reviews that evaluate employee performance and adherence to our values.
Create initiatives to recognize employees who exemplify our values, including peer recognition during monthly operations meetings.
Design strategies to engage work-from-home employees in cultural activities and value-based recognition.
Employee Development:
Partner with managers to identify development opportunities, focusing on the top 20% priorities for the next 90 days.
Conduct training sessions to educate supervisors and employees on living and leading by our values.
Support the onboarding process to ensure new hires understand and embrace our culture and values from day one.
Collaboration and Accountability:
Work closely with leadership to align people strategies with business goals.
Encourage a mindset of self-reflection and accountability among employees by embedding value-based practices into daily operations.
Facilitate open communication to ensure clarity around roles, expectations, and performance metrics.
Payroll Administration:
Support the HR and Finance teams in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll.
Maintain employee payroll records in compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
Collaborate with department leads to ensure correct timekeeping and attendance reporting.
Core Values Integration:
Incorporate value-based questions in all interviews to assess candidates’ alignment with Being the Best, Scrappy, Accountability, and Fun.
Design and implement tools for managers to assess employees’ demonstration of values during 411 meetings, reviews, and team check-ins.
Collaborate on annual reviews to evaluate how employees have lived our values over the past year.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a similar role with a strong emphasis on cultural alignment.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to integrate core values into hiring and management practices.
Experience designing and facilitating training programs.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and adaptable with a passion for creating a positive workplace culture.
Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a people role within a mission-driven organization.
Strong understanding of behavioral interview techniques and value-based hiring practices.
Familiarity with tools for remote employee engagement and cultural integration.
