Position Summary
The Learning Experience Partner will manage and facilitate the training needed for all new employees. This will focus heavily on the retail department but includes newly hired staff for any department and role. FPCU has a wide variety of Subject Matter Experts who assist with training and knowledge sharing. The Learning Experience Partner will coach and develop these individuals to maximize their skills and impact around the credit union. The role will also coordinate all security training across the company and provide training on various topics as needed or assigned. The position is primarily in-person and requires the ability to travel between locations, however working remotely is available when the training schedule permits.
Essential Functions & Primary Responsibilities
Facilitate teller and new employee training
Organize the schedules for the first few weeks of new employees as well as coordinate the numerous guests involved in training
Provide a positive, welcoming, and enjoyable experience as people are introduced to the Credit Union.
Ensure consistency in how policies and procedures are taught and practiced
Create and deliver training content in-person, virtually, and digitally
Evaluate, propose, and implement new training ideas, techniques, and programs
Coach and develop Subject Matter Experts to maximize their effectiveness as they support the Learning & Development department
Coordinate with managers for follow-up and accountability on employee progress
Coordinate and deliver training for security and physical safety across the organization
Support and participate in cultural and engagement initiatives
Work with Project Management on projects as assigned by the Director of Organizational Development
Facilitate classes on a variety of topics as needed
Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Asset Controls, and should request legal interpretation as necessary. Must ensure subordinates are also compliant with such laws and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience working in a bank or credit union
Experience working as a teller, currently or in the past, preferred
At least 2 years of experience in training or facilitation
A Bachelors Degree in Education, Human Resources, Communication, or Finance is recommended
Skills and Abilities
Strong communication skills verbally and written are required
Have high emotional intelligence and social skills
Comfort in public speaking
Use of behavioral analysis tools like Predictive Index, or similar
Understanding of various customer service techniques and concepts
Understanding of motivation and persuasion methodology
Knowledge of adult learning concepts
Content creation of appropriate course materials
Conflict resolution and de-escalation
The ability to stay organized and coordinate multiple projects
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Be able to work independently with little direction
Presents a positive and professional image to members through effective and courteous verbal and written communications

Able to travel between multiple FPCU offices daily (mileage reimbursable)

Possess transportation and ability to travel over an hour between locations
