Job Title:
Lockbox Operations Processor (Mailroom Processor)
Location: 3585 Atlanta Ave, Atlanta, GA
Position Type: Temporary (3 months)
Shift Options:
First Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Third Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, with potential for weekend shifts in the future.
Salary: $18 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Mailroom Processor (Lockbox Operations Processor) to join our team. This entry-level position is the first step toward a rewarding career in financial services. You will learn about payment processing and the financial services industry in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment. The role involves working behind the scenes with minimal customer interaction.
As a Mailroom Processor, you will be responsible for performing routine clerical tasks, including but not limited to:
Receiving, preparing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Capturing transactions into a proprietary processing system.
Opening, reviewing, sorting, logging, batching, scanning, verifying, or matching data on documents.
Performing simple data entry tasks and routine math calculations.
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and related transactions.
You will work under close supervision and follow established procedures to ensure high-quality work.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Department of Revenue Certification is required.
Lockbox experience is desired.
Experience in extraction (handling information from envelopes, sorting, and preparing documents to be scanned and captured).
Familiarity with payment processing and imaging for clients.
