JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in managing compensation and benefits (C&B) functions, including payroll administration, staff benefits, tax reporting, and statutory contributions.
  • Verify monthly payroll data to ensure timely and accurate remittance of statutory contributions such as Income Tax, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.
  • Assist in organizing annual and special performance appraisal exercises and compile related performance data and results.
  • Participate in salary benchmarking and provide recommendations to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Gather and analyze compensation and benefits data from the banking industry for management review.
  • Administer staff group insurance, including updates on staff movement, policy renewals, and premium adjustments.
  • Maintain and update the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and generate HR reports regularly.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to salary, bonus, allowances, and welfare matters.
  • Assist in compiling HR statistical data and reports in accordance with internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in handling immigration matters for expatriate employees, including visa applications, work permit renewals, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 2 years specializing in compensation and benefits or payroll management.
  • Familiar with Malaysian labour laws and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and Income Tax).
  • Experience in handling work permit or expatriate documentation is an advantage.
  • Meticulous, responsible, with strong numerical sense and confidentiality awareness.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, able to liaise effectively with internal departments and external agencies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems (e.g., payroll or HRIS software).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
