Job Overview
As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges by providing direct care and assistance under the supervision of mental health professionals.
Duties
Assist in implementing therapeutic treatment plans for patients
Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress
Facilitate group therapy sessions and recreational activities
Provide emotional support and crisis intervention when needed
Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Previous experience in a mental health setting is preferred
Knowledge of art therapy, gender issues counseling, and psychopharmacology is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $31.00 – $35.00 per hour
