Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a premier hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in phone systems, and a passion for hospitality. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our ability to serve diverse clientele.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations.
Operate phone systems effectively, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Process reservations and cancellations through hotel management software.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest accommodations are ready.
Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization at all times.
Experience
Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Familiarity with hotel management systems is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Experience in a resort or hotel setting is a plus.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued, enhancing guest interactions.
