RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor, operate, and maintain customers' network, Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, and production environments following established operational procedures.
- Continuously monitor system health, performance, and availability using monitoring tools to detect incidents, outages, or performance degradation.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, network, and Linux-related issues within the defined support scope.
- Analyze alerts, classify incidents based on severity and business impact, and perform initial root cause investigation.
- Execute recovery or mitigation actions according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and escalate complex issues to higher-level engineering teams when necessary.
- Manage and track incidents through ticketing systems, ensuring timely updates and compliance with SLA requirements.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, ISPs, and internal technical teams during incident resolution.
- Produce shift handover reports and document incidents, operational changes, and abnormal events.
- Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift schedule to ensure continuous service availability.
- Contribute to operational excellence by improving monitoring processes and documenting runbooks/SOPs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NOC, Network Operations, Linux System Administration, Infrastructure Operations, Technical Support, or similar operational roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- Solid knowledge of Linux administration and command-line troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching, and firewalls.
