Short Description
Finance, Accounting & Tax Compliance
- Handle full set of accounts (including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP) & Fixed Assets)
- Maintain the General Ledger and execute day-to-day entries for all transactions
- Process vendor invoices and employee expense claims
- Track customer outstanding balances and follow up on collections
- Keep the fixed assets records up to date
- Perform reconciliation (i.e. bank, intercompany account, vendors, inventory etc)
- Perform month-end & year-end closing independently
- Update the cashbook daily, monitor cash fund requirements and maintain monthly exchange rate in the system
- Verify that master data (Customer, Vendors, Employees) in the system are correctly created by the counterparty (Shared Service Centre)
- Ensure strict tax compliance by liaising with external tax consultants on Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and coordinating with outsourced accounting firm for local Indonesian tax filings (i.e. VAT)
- Handle audit queries and facilitate audits with both internal and external auditors
- Liaise with the counterparty (Shared service Centre – Payment factory) to facilitate monthly payments for vendors, employee claims, tax related payments
- Coorfinate directly with banking institutions
- Prepare financial reporting for both Japan and Asia Pacific Headquarter.
- Ensure compliance with all financial reporting regulations, statutory requirements, internal controls and company rules
Human Resources & Administration
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment process for new hire, including managing job postings, screening resumes, and executing onboarding/offboarding process
- Draft, update, and register the company's internal handbook with the local Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker)
- Compile and submit the compulsory annual manpower report (Wajib Lapor Ketenagakerjaan or WLKP) online
- Manage and administer local employee benefits, specifically BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan. Ensure full compliance with Indonesian Labor Law (UU Cipta Kerja)
- Process monthly payroll accurately for the local team and manage monthly deductions for the dual social security systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (ie. contracts, appraisal, leave tracking) and serve as the primary point of contact for local HR queries
- Contribute proactively to process improvements
- Support ad hoc matters requested by business operations
This role is to manage the day-to-day human resources, full spectrum of accounting functions and compliance independently to support the business operations in Indonesia.
