Role Description: The Inventory Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory audits, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse or storage facilities. The role supports operational efficiency by minimizing inventory discrepancies and ensuring product availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system.
- Track stock movements, including receipts, transfers, returns, and issuances.
- Ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to support business operations.
2. Stock Control
- Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged inventory.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of inventory items.
- Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against supporting documentation.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock status reports, and variance analysi. s
- Identify inventory trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
- Can work flexible Hour
