Schedule & Availability
- Must be available to work a 40-hour week, including weekends (Wednesday – Sunday preferred; alternate fixed schedules may be available based on time zone coverage).
- Schedules available include:
- EST: Monday – Friday
- PST: Monday – Friday (11 am onward)
- CST: Saturday – Wednesday
Position Overview
A growing operations team is seeking a detail-oriented, adaptable Operations Clerk to support real-time quality management for a rapidly evolving meal management program. The ideal candidate is available to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, and is skilled in communicating with customers, merchants, and drivers. This role is not a call center position but does involve regular interaction across various internal and external partners and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily and hourly quality management and process support across program operations.
- Master and execute standard operating procedures, reporting any issues or improvement opportunities as they arise.
- Use internal tools to monitor fulfillment and proactively detect challenges before they escalate.
- Interact with customers, merchants, and drivers (Dashers) to resolve operational issues in real time.
- Actively contribute to launching new pilot initiatives and provide structured feedback to improve services.
- Adapt to evolving processes and technologies as the business grows and develops.
- Ensure all feedback and quality observations are documented and communicated effectively within the team.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to frequently changing contexts and tasks.
- Experience with last-mile logistics, high-volume package delivery, or customer service in delivery or fulfillment settings (e.g., FedEx, UPS, or similar) is highly valued.
- Experience in a non–call center environment interacting with internal and external partners preferred.
Nice to Have:
- Experience using Slack or similar team communication tools.
