What We’re Looking For Core Technical Skills
● 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA).
● Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and troubleshooting.
● Solid experience with Oracle PL/SQL, SQL optimization, and database performance analysis.
Preferred Experience
Experience performing Oracle Database Migration with minimal downtime using technologies such as:
● RMAN Duplicate
● Oracle Data Pump
● Oracle Data Guard
Strong troubleshooting skills for critical Oracle incidents, including:
● ORA-00600
● ORA-07445
● Deadlocks
● Blocking sessions
● Archive Log Full
● Database performance bottlenecks Experience automating DBA tasks using:
● Shell Script
● Python
● Ansible Ability to monitor, optimize, and improve database performance, availability, and system reliability.
Experience mentoring, reviewing technical solutions, and supporting team members.
Nice to Have
● Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, or Data Guard environments.
● Knowledge of Linux administration.
