People Operations Analyst Jobs in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria at Strivolabs

Title: People Operations Analyst

Company: Strivolabs

Location: Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria

Purpose of the Role

The People Operations Analyst is the operational anchor of the PPP function. While the Head manages strategy and direction, this role makes sure that the day-to-day people machinery works – that employees are documented, records are accurate, processes run on time, and nothing falls through the cracks. Beyond the operational mandate, this role serves as the Head's second eyes across the function: someone who is close enough to the ground to catch what senior leadership might miss, and trusted enough to flag it early and act on it decisively.

This is a people-facing role. Every employee in the organisation will interact with this role at some point in their journey – from the day they receive their offer letter to the day they exit. The standard is consistency, accuracy, and a human touch that makes HR feel like a function that is there for people, not just processing them.

Core Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end employee onboarding experience, from offer documentation through to the completion of the induction programme, in strict alignment with the SVNL Onboarding Checklist.

• Lead document collection and verification for all new hires, ensuring every required item — including offer letter, biodata forms, educational certificates, NYSC discharge, guarantor forms, and HMO enrolment – is received, verified, and filed before or on Day 1.

• Manage the offboarding process in line with the SVNL Offboarding Checklist, coordinating with IT, Finance, and the Team Leads to ensure exits are clean, documented, and compliant, and that no final payment is released until the Exit Clearance Form is fully signed.

• Serve as the primary HRIS administrator on SeamlessHR, maintaining complete and current employee records, managing attendance data, tracking leave balances, and ensuring the system reflects organisational reality at all times.

• Track probation timelines for all employees on the PPP tracker, flagging upcoming mid-probation reviews and end-of-probation appraisals to the Head at least two weeks in advance.

• Prepare and submit the monthly HR report by the 5th working day of each month, covering headcount, open roles, leave liability, active probations, and any pending HR actions.

• Serve as the first-level HR contact for employee queries on policies, leave, benefits, and documentation, resolving within 24 working hours or escalating with a clear recommendation.

• Liaise with Finance on all people data that feeds payroll, ensuring accuracy of inputs even though payroll execution sits outside this role.

• Act as the Head's operational extension – observing patterns in employee data, surfacing people risks early, and flagging concerns before they become formal issues.

• Support the Head in planning and executing engagement initiatives, policy rollouts, SOP and Handbook compliance, and team-wide HR communications.
