Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Assistant Planner role based in Johor Baharu. The Production Assistant Planner coordinates daily production schedules, supports the planning of materials and resources, and ensures that work orders are sequenced efficiently to meet delivery timelines. The role involves tracking production progress, updating planning systems, and communicating changes or constraints to supervisors, production teams, and other departments. The individual will analyze capacity and inventory data, help resolve scheduling conflicts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production planning process. The role also requires preparing reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with quality and logistics functions to support smooth, reliable operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and Planning to coordinate workflows, resources, and timelines effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Production Schedules to organize work orders and align capacity with customer requirements.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify bottlenecks, and support decision-making.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to interact with supervisors, production teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or production planning environments is beneficial.
- Proficiency with planning or ERP systems and basic spreadsheet tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work accurately under time constraints and maintain organized documentation is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field is an added advantage.
