The Residency / Fellow Coordinator 1 provides administrative support to an assigned program(s). This role assists the Coordinator 2 and 3 with various administrative and operational duties such as answering and screening calls, coordinating events, and maintaining program files. The Coordinator 1 also provides administrative support in the recruiting and accreditation processes of the program, performing duties such as gathering and preparing documentation, coordinating meetings, and making necessary travel arrangements.
This position may be responsible for one or more areas of assigned program(s) and performs other duties as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum two years of administrative support experience required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Previous experience supporting a residency or fellowship program preferred.
Able to keyboard 40 wpm. Proficient in using a computer, printer, and necessary software programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Capable of operating and troubleshooting basic office equipment. Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Strong critical thinking skills; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve;
recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens and written documents necessary to the position. Valid Driver’s license at time of hire.
