The Opportunity

Are you a welcoming, organised professional looking to make a difference in an educational setting? We have recently launched a brand:new SEND Secondary School dedicated to supporting young people aged 11:16 with social communication and sensory processing needs.

As we continue our journey of growth, we are looking for a vibrant Receptionist to be the face of the school. This is a unique chance to join a fresh, supportive team at the very beginning of our story and help shape the environment for our students and visitors.

Your Role

As our first point of contact, you will play a vital role in the daily life of the school. Youll be responsible for creating a warm, professional atmosphere while keeping the administrative gears turning.

Key Responsibilities

Front of House: Welcoming visitors, parents, and professionals with a friendly and helpful approach.

Communication: Managing the busy school switchboard and handling enquiries efficiently.

Coordination: Managing school diaries and overseeing incoming deliveries.

Administrative Support: Assisting the wider admin team with day:to:day tasks to ensure the smooth running of the school.

Flexibility: While based at our main site in Chaldon, you may occasionally support our nearby satellite site in Caterham.

Work Schedule

This is a Term Time Only position, perfect for those seeking a balance between a rewarding career and school holidays.

Total Hours: 40 per week.

Monday : Wednesday: 08:15 : 16:45

Thursday: 08:15 : 17:00

Friday: 08:15 : 16:00
