We are looking for Service Leader – Human Resources to join our team!
As our Service Leader – Human Resources, we rely on you to:
- Assist in the administration and enforcement of Human Resources policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence throughout the property.
- Screen all received applications, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist candidates for the positions of Service Leader and Service Associate based on specified criteria and requirements.
- Assist in maintaining records of tenancy agreements and service contracts, including their terms and regulations.
- Oversee the maintenance and updating of personal files.
- Participate in documenting staff movements within the Hotel, ensuring that all status changes are accompanied by proper approvals, documentation, and signatories.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute engaging monthly staff activities with a creative approach. (Promote employee welfare programs, such as employee engagement activities, community engagement, and assist in recognition programs preparation).
- Manage employee welfare, including overseeing employees’ facilities, hostel, addressing employee concerns, and providing support for work-related issues.
- To render services and delight the internal customers on their needs with existing guidelines and standard set up by Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang.
- To assume the responsibility of the Human Resources officer.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Has a Degree / Diploma in Tourism/ Hospitality/ Hotel Management/ Human Resources or relevant discipline.
- Holds a minimum of one (1) years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity.
- Fluent in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and maintains a positive attitude when interacting with employees and hotel guests, consistently upholding the highest standards of service.
- Develop and maintain close working relationship with all departments throughout the hotel.
- Possesses excellent proficiency in computer software, particularly office applications, and demonstrates adeptness in operating various office equipment.
- Must be a confident and tactfulIs a strong team player.
- Good interpersonal & communication skill.
- Is a self-starter, with the ability to proactively problem-solve, identify, advocate for, and execute improvements.
- Due to work permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
