Sr Analyst and Researcher, HR Analytics Jobs in Tulsa, OK at Cherokee Nation Businesses
Provide leadership, functionality, and training for the analytic and reporting tools in the Company’s human resources management (“HRM”) system. Provide analysis of employee data, identify trends, and help create business solutions for corporate and Cultural and Economic Development. Prepare reports and presentations on demographic information, turnover data, performance and pay alignment and other employee-related data for various audiences including C-suite and the Board of Directors. Conduct research and develop position papers for topics aligned to business and HR initiatives and strategy. Benchmark HR best practices.
Develops detailed analysis with little or no supervision and provides insights to HR and business leaders based on the data and trends identified.
Develops and documents methodology for data management, reports, and studies to ensure replication of the analysis in future years.
Analyzes retention and pay-for-performance metrics.
Reviews and analyzes existing and potential HR program and plans for cost effectiveness and impacts on the business and employees; recommends appropriate changes.
Develops metrics for an HR scorecard to measure its performance and contributions to the company.
Prepares presentations based on analyses and recommendations for review by business leaders, C-suite executives and the Board of Directors.
Builds and runs models for cost analysis for HR initiatives to determine ROI, budget impact, and business impact.
Interfaces with multiple departments to gather information, identifies needs and provides reports and solutions.
Conducts research and develops position papers for topics aligned to business and HR initiatives and strategy.
Develops HR focused surveys for engagement, ad hoc topics, exit interviews and analysis of third-party surveys.
Identifies and documents HR processes, introduces process improvements, and supports initiatives with job aids and training materials.
Benchmarks HR best practices and introduces to the HR team as appropriate.
Assists HR with their reporting needs.
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality of all work and employee information.
No supervisory/management authority.
Works primarily in a climate-controlled office setting.
Work may require travel, including overnight stays.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in math, statistics, finance, marketing, or other related field, and 6 to 8 years of related analytics experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of human resources practices, processes, and trends.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other data management tools and analytical software.
Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentational) skills.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to take complex data, identify trends and root causes, and present the information in a simple, actionable fashion.
Ability to work with large volume of data.
Ability to prioritize work and provide feedback on projects.
Ability to work with little supervision within a team environment.
