Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Manage appointment scheduling using veterinary software, coordinating with veterinary staff to optimize daily operations
- Handle medical collections accurately, processing payments and insurance claims efficiently while maintaining confidentiality
- Assist with front desk administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to client inquiries, and managing correspondence
- Support veterinary critical care efforts by understanding basic veterinary terminology, assisting with animal restraint, and facilitating client communication during procedures
- Maintain organized records in compliance with Veterinary Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations and USDA regulations
- Contribute to a safe environment by understanding animal anatomy knowledge and applying proper animal restraint techniques during examinations or treatments
Experience
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners and team members
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and/or veterinary software systems and for administrative tasks
