Paletz Windows & Doors is looking for an experienced Window & Door Estimator / Administrative Coordinator to join our growing team.
WINDOW & DOOR EXPERIENCE IS STRONGLY PREFERRED.
We need someone who understands the industry and can help price jobs accurately—not simply an administrative assistant.
What You’ll Do
Perform window and door takeoffs from architectural plans
Read plans, elevations, schedules, and specifications
Estimate and price residential and commercial window and door projects
Determine quantities, sizes, configurations, glass types, and product requirements
Obtain and review manufacturer/vendor quotes
Calculate material, installation, and other job costs
Prepare professional customer proposals and estimates
Assist sales representatives with pricing and revisions
Review sold jobs for accuracy before ordering
Assist with window and door ordering
Process change orders and revised estimates
Maintain organized job files and documentation
Coordinate with sales, project management, manufacturers, vendors, and customers
Track estimates and help ensure quotes are completed quickly and accurately
What We’re Looking For
Ideal candidates will have experience with:
Window and door estimating
Construction takeoffs
Reading architectural plans
Impact windows and doors
Residential and commercial construction
Manufacturer pricing and quotes
Window/door schedules and configurations
Microsoft Excel and computer-based estimating
CRM or construction management software
Knowledge of South Florida impact windows and doors, product approvals, permitting, and local construction requirements is a major plus.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
The Right Person
You must be organized, detail-oriented, computer proficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Accuracy is extremely important. We are looking for someone who understands that incorrect quantities, sizes, configurations, glass selections, or pricing can cost thousands of dollars.
You should be able to take a set of plans and confidently help turn it into an accurate, profitable window and door proposal.
Compensation
Competitive weekly salary based on experience.
Higher compensation is available for candidates with significant window and door estimating, ordering, or commercial project experience.
Full-Time | In-Office | Monday–Friday
