Location: Seattle, WA
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM | 40 hours per week
Compensation: $32.00 to $35.00/hr DOE
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Workplace Experience Specialist to provide short-term onsite support at a leading technology company in Seattle. The ideal candidate will serve as the face of the office, ensuring smooth daily operations while fostering a welcoming, professional, and engaging environment for employees, visitors, and guests. This hands-on role is perfect for a proactive, resourceful individual with a hospitality and customer-service mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a friendly and professional point of contact at the front desk for employees, visitors, vendors, and guests.
- Support and maintain daily office operations to ensure a well-organized, functional, and inviting workspace.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and facilitate onsite activities and events.
- Coordinate meeting and conference room setups, including basic AV equipment troubleshooting.
- Monitor workplace needs proactively, addressing issues promptly or escalating as necessary.
- Collaborate with employees and leadership to deliver high-quality internal customer service.
- Manage office supplies, common areas, food and beverage services, and other amenities.
- Communicate effectively through Slack and other internal channels.
- Contribute ideas for enhancing the employee and workplace experience.
- Remain adaptable to shifting priorities and support seamless office operations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in workplace operations, office coordination, hospitality, event planning, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong customer service skills with an approachable and polished demeanor.
- Experienced in front desk or reception responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Slack and Google Workspace.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter demonstrating initiative, able to operate independently during short-term coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Culturally aware and able to effectively engage with a diverse range of employees and visitors.
- Must be able to work onsite in Seattle for the duration of the assignment.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience within a technology company’s workplace or a similarly fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality industry background, especially in hotels, guest services, or event management.
- Skilled in coordinating employee engagement activities or corporate events.
- Experience in setting up and troubleshooting basic AV equipment and conference rooms.
- Prior experience providing temporary workplace, office management, or reception coverage.
