JOB SUMMARY
The System analyst in Investment Solutions responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing & supporting EPF investment systems. The role is responsible to reviews and assesses existing applications to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities. The role develops plans to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and user experience, while drafting new requirements and system updates to support evolving business needs. This position is responsible for implementing enhancements, monitoring system performance, and ensuring solutions meet both technical and operational expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Support & Maintenance
- Provide functional and technical support to ensure stable and reliable application operations.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform basic root‑cause analysis, and work with teams or vendors to resolve issues, escalating to HOU/HOS when necessary on critical issues.
- Monitor application health, performance, and integration points to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adopt ITIL management processes – Incident, Problem, Change. Maintain system documentation, update procedures, and support change management activities.
Application Development
- Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Support design and development of enhancements, system updates, and configurations.
- Conduct functional and integration testing to ensure solution quality before deployment.
- Recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency, performance, and user experience.
Project & Solution Deliveries
- Support the delivery of system enhancements, integrations, and change requests from planning to implementation.
- Participate in solution evaluation, impact analysis, and requirement validation with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with business users, developers, and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Assist in post‑implementation reviews and follow-up actions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with 3rd parties and external parties in system integration for seamless integration across the enterprise landscape, requirements, solutioning and troubleshooting.
Project Management
- Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting project progress, risks, and issues.
- Support preparation of project documentation, meeting materials, and status updates.
- Facilitate requirement workshops, technical discussions, and UAT activities.
- Ensure project tasks follow EPF project standards, governance processes, and audit requirements.
Collaboration & Administration
- Work closely with business users, technology teams, and external vendors to support system needs and improvements.
- Communicates system changes, issues, and impacts clearly to stakeholders.
- Manage system configurations, access controls, and environment readiness for development and testing.
- Contribute to documentation updates, knowledge‑sharing, and administrative coordination across teams.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Malaysian citizen
- Passed the Malay Language (including oral test) at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years’ relevant experience.
- Proven Experience in application management knowledge, product solution, and application design (software/hardware requirements, network, system functionalities, security, process & policies.
- Experience in analyzing application functionality, solution designing, integration, scripting and reporting.
