Position Information
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Four years progressively responsible office experience, including direct experience in office coordination, i.e., prioritizing work assignments, maintaining work flow to meet deadlines.
- Ability to compose correspondence.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Ability to effectively interact with the public, students, faculty and staff.
- Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation and ability to utilize proper standard office source manuals.
- Possess the keyboarding skills necessary to perform successfully in this position.
- Experience in clerical accounting/bookkeeping.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to perform the functions consistent with intermediate word processing and intermediate spreadsheet applications as demonstrated by a skills assessment.

Position Details
Provide support for the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work & Criminal Justice including specialized office assistance, coordinating procedural business or service activities for a complex academic area involving processing, implementing, advising and/or reporting specialized subject matter. Duties include course scheduling, curriculum input, financial/general bookkeeping duties.
