Role Description
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator (East Africa) to manage day-to-day operations in Kenya while providing operational oversight for our Uganda office.
Based in Nairobi, Kenya, you will coordinate operational workflows, monitor KPIs, track client processes, and ensure tasks and deadlines are followed through. You will work closely with Sales, Admissions, Recruitment, Visa, and Management teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
For Uganda, the role will focus on operational oversight, KPI monitoring, reporting, process compliance, and follow-up, rather than managing its day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations in Kenya.
- Provide operational oversight for Uganda.
- Track client journeys, tasks, deadlines, and documentation.
- Coordinate workflows across relevant departments.
- Monitor and report on operational KPIs and performance targets.
- Follow up on pending tasks and escalate operational issues.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and operational documentation.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare regular operational and KPI reports for management.
- Ensure company processes and service standards are followed across both locations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in operations, administration, coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience monitoring KPIs, performance targets, or operational metrics.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and task-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with teams, clients, and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify operational gaps and support process improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM, and task/project management systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of deadlines and deliverables.
- Experience in education consulting, student recruitment, international education, recruitment, or international mobility is an advantage.
